This is the second half of our “Behind the scenes” where we take a look at how a Création Group product is being created. If you missed the first one, you can find it here – Behind the scenes, part 1.
Through fabric exhibitions we choose the correct fabric and fake fur for our products to make sure they look as desired. Then our dressmaker Pernille creates a pattern for the fur suit that the reindeer wear and the clothes for Santa Claus.
Hair and makeup
In hair and makeup our employee Bente makes sure to curl the beard and hair of the Santa Claus so he looks exactly like the real deal. This is also the place where the eyes of our figures are inserted along with eyelashes and makeup, which is a fine craftsmanship, as eyes define the whole expression of the product.
Assembly and Detailing
When the clothes head and body are finished, the product is assembled with an eye for detail, where after the animatronic functions will be tested to make sure the quality of the product correspond to our high expectations.
The end result is a stunning fun experience for visitors at shopping malls, garden center and supermarkets, as well as everyone else who wants to put a smile on their customers’ faces. Movement is key in animatronic figures, so you can click here to see the band in action
